An article from The Conversation states that transgender Americans are more likely than their cisgender counterparts to be unemployed and poor based on a survey of over 400,000 people in the US about employment, income, health insurance coverage, and overall health. The first half of the evening will consist of a presentation and discussion on the psychology of money, basic rules to follow for improving one’s individual economic situation, financial planning, and investing for the future.
