Sunday, July 24th, from 11 am to 3pm with a sailing adventure starting at 3pm. This event is to welcome all our new members, celebrate our not-so-new members and thank all the volunteers and donors who helped make The Rainbow Prom a success.  

July 14th 7:30-9pm

this is a combo social and spoken word and open mic event. You do not need to perform or speak. You can just listen and be an audience member. Outside on the pavilion. Look for the Pride Progress flag and the friendly people hanging out around it. The first 45 minutes is poetry, stories or just things on people’s minds. The second half is everything else: music, singing, crafts, interpretive dance etc. 

We will be having dinner at the beginning (the food truck closes at 8pm but the cafe will stay open until 9 pm). Come socialize, listen to cool people, eat, and celebrate International Non-Binary day! 

Monday June 27th 7:30-9pm Come and hangout, play, eat and be yourselves. We are expecting lots of new faces after our wonderful prom. Looking forward to seeing you all. .

TranQuility MONTHLY MEETING – May 23 2022 from 7:30pm to 9pm.

TQ social – We will eat dinner together at 7:30pm, play pool, ping pong, board games, swing in the hammock or just hang out chat and chill with friends. All welcome to this casual and affirming community space.

The Equality FL Gainesville Gala Saturday May 7^th 2022 at the Cade Museum. The theme is support for the transgender community. Given TranQuility’s critical role in the community, we would really like to have as many members involved as possible. One of our regular members is a co-chair on the steering committee and also our resident trans portrait of beauty painter will be showing her work at the museum of trans folks in our community and how beautiful they are. If you haven’t gotten her to paint your free portrait of trans beauty – she will be on hand to speak with you.

As part of the Gala this year, we are inviting trans folks to share aspects of their story with us as they feel comfortable with, in any way they choose. We would love to include trans folks of all ages!

Monday, April 25th 2022, from 7:30pm to 9pm: TranQuility monthly meeting

 LGBT Easter events – You do not need to believe in God or even the Easter Bunny to attend. This is a safe 7 acre LGBT owned property that is non -denominational. Where TranQuility was born. Masks are required indoors. All affirming, everyone welcome, they have only gender- neutral bathrooms.   
Events – Come for one or stay for all:
9:30am Breakfast

 10:15 Easter Bonnet parade and egg hunt – for all ages of adults and children, bring your best Easter bonnet/hat (I have a fedora with bunny ears). There will be a pot in front of each bonnet/hat. We will vote by putting a dollar in the pot of our favorite. The winner gets to keep the cash! Then it is time to go hunt eggs on the grounds.

At 11:00am to noon – Non denominational LGBT and supportive family and friends worship. Everyone is welcome of any or no particular faith. The theme is: Full to the Brim: An Expansive Life
