We will have a fun and enlightening icebreaker, discuss experiences of dating as a trans person, have a lively Speed-Friending activity and end with suggestions and resources.
Jan 25th, 2021 from 7:30 to 9:00 pm – Monthly Meeting – Topic: Anxiety and Dysphoria
Not every trans or intersex person has dysphoria, but many LGBTQIA+ people have one or more forms of anxiety such as OCD. PTSD Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Phobias, Agoraphobia and Gender or Body Dysphoria. We will have an icebreaker, a short presentation, an open discussion (you may just listen, sharing is optional), and then end with some suggestions for resources and techniques for coping with anxiety and dysphoria. Some people have asked for not only emotional coping tools but also physical coping, such as resources on affordable binders and prosthetics.
On Sunday, November 29th, 2020, we will have a social event at Curia! Come ready to play board games and ping pong.

Join us on September 28th from 7pm to 8:30pm for an historical and educational perspective on what it mean to be and to grow up as an intersex individual. Guest speakers will share their experiences. There will be time at the end to ask questions and we will close by asking for ideas on how the trans and queer community can stand with, support, and be good allies to intersex people.

Join Tranquility on August 24th from 7pm to 8:30pm as we sit back and enjoy the talents of our community. Mic participation is optional. If you choose you can read a poem, sing, play an instrument, do a Tarot reading, dance, read one of your short stories, and/or any other talent that you might like to share with the group. Participation is strictly voluntary. You may just sit on your couch and listen. Depending on the number of participants each performer will have 5 to 10 minutes.
